Why we built this

Every appliance buying guide we found in India was either outdated, affiliate-stuffed, or simply copying spec sheets without any real analysis. ApplianceAdda.in was built to fix that.

We are a small team of engineers and smart-home enthusiasts based in India. We built our own scraper, our own Value Score algorithm, and our own comparison engine — so the rankings you see are driven by data, not by whoever paid us the highest commission.

No sponsored placements. No paid rankings. No fluff.

How it works

   Daily price scrape

   Every morning our scraper fetches the latest prices from Amazon India. Prices in the product cards are updated daily. Each product page shows the exact date the price was last verified so you always know how fresh the data is.

   Value Score calculation

   Each product is scored out of 10 using a weighted formula: Price (30%) + Specs (40%) + Ratings (20%) + Brand (10%). Spec weights are category-specific — suction power matters more for a robot vacuum than it does for an air fryer.

   Side-by-side comparisons

   Select 2–3 products on any category page and compare them side-by-side with grouped spec sections, winner highlights, and a plain-language verdict to help you decide. Popular comparison pairs also get their own dedicated pages.

   Price drop alerts

   Set a target price on any product. When our scraper sees the price hit your number, we'll send you a Telegram message instantly.
