SmartAppliance.in (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.
Data we collect
We collect the absolute minimum needed to run the site.
- • Telegram username & chat ID — only if you choose to set up a price-drop alert. We use this solely to send you alert messages and for nothing else.
- • Target price — the price threshold you set for an alert. Stored alongside your Telegram handle until the alert fires or expires.
- • Anonymous usage analytics — via Google Analytics 4. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not link analytics data to any personal identity.

Cookies
We set one first-party cookie: the Google Analytics 4 measurement
cookie (_ga and variants). It is used
only for anonymous traffic analysis. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or
any cookie that identifies you personally.
Data retention
- • Price alerts are automatically deleted once triggered or after 90 days, whichever comes first.
- • Your Telegram handle is removed from our database when your last active alert expires or is deleted.
- • GA4 analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google's default retention setting.
Your rights

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page will always reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
